Welcome Reception will take place at Habourfront Seafood Restaurant. Dinner is provided at this event.

How to get there:

1. 15 Minute leisurely straight beachside walk – meet us in the Novotel Lobby at 6pm and we will take everyone down. See Map

The conference dinner will take place at Kneading Ruby. 1/2 of the guests will go to dinner and the other 1/2 will go to the Escape room for team building. After the first set of dinner and team building is complete, groups will switch spots.

This is an annual charity event to raise money for the Black Dog Institute that supports medical research in mental health. There are multiple events that are designed for that that are very fit, to something that kids can participate in. The events will all involve a combination of swimming and running and you are allowed to partner up with a buddy if you prefer not to run or swim. This is part of the Aquathon, and is a charity event to raise money for the Black Dog Institute that supports medical research in mental health. You may run, cycle, skate or walk along the spectacular views the coastal walk (our mini “ocean road”) offers. The distance is 5km (3.1 miles). If you want to encounter Australian wildlife then this is the activity for you. Located 30 mins by car north of Wollongong central, you will get an opportunity to meet and even hug some of our iconic animals. If we get enough participants then we will get 20% off the ticket price, but may use this to contribute towards transport to the zoo. For those going to the research meeting, it is only 10 minutes away by car so  you may choose to go directly there. For more information and entry fees visit https://symbiozoo.com.au

If you did not get the chance to see Sydney on your way in, we will organize a day trip to Sydney. This will likely be done by private car and you can negotiate what you would like to see. Suggestions would be to do part of the Coogee to Bondi walk, see the Harbour Bridge and have lunch at the Opera House with world famous views.
